New Guinea Gold says gold production jumped 40% in Q2

In breaking news Thursday, Vancouver-based New Guinea Gold (TSX: V.NGG, Stock Forum) announced that its gold production increased 40% in the second quarter of the year, reaching 2246 ounces. Gold for August delivery up slightly Friday

The price of gold for August delivery climbed $1.50 to $941 Friday, as Stockhouse members offered some comments on the metal’s moves on the Bullboards.
